Now back to my Regularly Scheduled Program...

Now that everyone knows my real reason for this blog, which is that I want to work on transit policy without giving any thoughts to the political side of it, I feel good going back to my regularly scheduled program as they say on TV.

As much as I do not like the VBTA, I will not stoop to the lowness that either one of them or one of their supporters stooped to.

Oh, so you're brainwashing Henry into riding the bus. Now that I have that straightened out, you need to be more respectful to Mr. Greenmun and his transportation agenda that would give you something better and safer than light rail.

we still demand that you respect the VBTA and that you take this blog down immediately

Don't sit down for any comments by anonymous... You're doing a great job and to hell with the hacks. You keep asking the questions and providing the ideas and the analysis.

As to people who will not stand up and sign their own name, shame on you.

And what the f*** is the VBTA?

Michael Ragsdale said...

Henry: I let you answer that since I'm pretty much a newbie in the political arena (heck, I never wanted to dive into politics with this blog in the first place)

Peter A. Stinson said...

See my post here.

And you really think we're going to let you off that easily? Back off Peter, this doesn't concern you.

Michael: I ORDER YOU TO TAKE THIS BLOG DOWN NOW.

You're a gutsy one. Why not leave your name as well coward?

Yes, I'm calling you a coward.

Peter A. Stinson said...

Anonymous (April 20, 2008 4:36 PM), I beg to disagree. Free speech is an issue which does concern me. Why don't you come over to my blog and heckle me there?

Peter A. Stinson said...

Oh, I get it... the cries for taking the blog down are satire...

Amanda: Oh so I'm a coward now?
Peter: Since you don't live in the Beach, THIS DOES NOT CONCERN YOU. BACK OFF. The VBTA requires this blog be taken down NOW.

Michael Ragsdale said...

#1) I agree with Amanda: you are a coward. No name and no blog link? You are a yellow-bellied coward
#2) You sure are rude to Peter
#3) This blog will NOT be taken down
#4) We think we know who you are, so you may not be anon for much longer
#5) I am not afraid of the VBTA, nice try

Peter, the VBTA is the Virginia Beach Taxpayer's Alliance. I serve as their Transportation Chairman.

Micheal, transit is political once it involves billions of local, state, and federal tax funds.

Hey look: Reid can't spell (giggle)

So, you finally identify yourself?

Michael Ragsdale said...

No, I don't think it was Reid. Maybe a supporter? I'm not sure though.

Anonymous said...

Alright. Now I see it, since Reid identified himself in both posts.

Michael Ragsdale said...

Billions? For HRT? Gosh I wish I had that kind of money. Imagine the wonderful system we could have.

Too bad it'll never happen. Then again, as comparison, it's roughly $3.8 million for HRT service in the Beach. Don't think we need billions.

Jessica,

I've known Reid for 9 years now. For all the negative things I could say about him, I'm almost certain that he's not the troll.

Anonymous said...

That's what I figured when I chimed in at 6:59 PM.

Michael Ragsdale said...

Reid: As much as I do not agree with the VBTA or its point of view, thank-you for being civil

Anonymous said...

You're welcome. I strive to be civil when those that communicate with me make the same effort.

No, I am not the troll, nor do I know who is.
